The Moline Activity Center (MAC) founded in the 1970s. The purpose of the Center is to give people 55 years of age or older a place to come and share their life experiences, learn new things and make new friends.
Moline Township has always been an intricate part of the MAC, primarily due to our shared building. The City of Moline owned the land and the Township owned the building.
In 2010 the City of Moline sold the MAC and the land to Moline Township for $1.00.
Our vision remains the same today as it was nearly 40 years ago, “to offer the best possible programming available for older adults in our community”. Our mission is to end isolation among seniors and give them a place to call HOME!
